Mesotherapy

The term mesotherapy refers to intradermal injections of anti-inflamatory drugs and local anesthetics, typically using very fine and short needles (4-6mm).

Mesotherapy is frequently used to treat diseases affecting insertions and tendon sheaths, superficial bursitis, muscle trigger points and periostitis.

The cycle of treatment usually spans 3 to 5 sessions, with a 2 or 3 day gap in between, depending on the specific case.
