Our cultural heart
Formed in 2000, our Education & Research Department is the cultural heart of the Isokinetic Medical Group. It offers young, bright people the opportunity to become a member of our Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation team through internships, courses and exams, ensuring they are fully versed in our methods.
The Education & Research Department is also responsible for managing relationships with the national and international academic worlds, helping us keep up to date with the latest developments in research.
Additionally, we make an active contribution to global Sports Medicine by presenting our own findings at scientific meetings around the world.
Sharing innovation with the World
The Isokinetic Medical Group is recognised as a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence for the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. FIFA’s vision is to create a network of qualified establishments around the world to provide a benchmark for the professional care of injured athletes.
Centres are located globally across six continents.
FIFA’s medical committee, over more than twenty years of activity, has actively promoted the prevention of injuries and football as a health enhancing leisure activity.
Throughout the years we have also built and maintained numerous relationships with international associations such as ISAKOS, ESSKA, ICRS, UEFA, Universities with overseas colleagues that have allowed us to co-operate on scientific projects.
Bringing together the international “sports medicine” community
We started to organise our own International Conference on Sports Rehabilitation and Traumatology in 1992.
Over the years the Conference took place in many iconic venues, like Wembley, Stamford Bridge Stadium, and the legendary Camp Nou in Barcelona where we brought together more than 3,000 Sports Medicine professionals from 95 countries around the world.
Isokinetic Medical Group’s Conference mission is to inspire the international Sports Medicine community through our Culture Image Atmosphere and Organisation to give their best to improve world health.
